2025: A Year of Purpose-Driven Partnership.

As we reflect on the past year, one overarching theme stands out: how our unique approach makes a difference in our client relationships.

Our clients have access to something invaluable, a multifaceted team of professionals who work together to support clients through all of the year’s ups and downs. By working as one team, we ensured every client could tap into a diverse pool of expertise, turning obstacles into opportunities and problems into progress.

The partnerships we have with our clients are the reason we come into work every day. We are driven to see them succeed. This is a look back at a year dedicated to putting people first and strengthening the already deep connections that propel our collective success.

Putting Clients First.

Our expansive suite of solutions offers countless ways Rehmann delivers exceptional value to our clients. From tax advice and wealth management services to technology and accounting solutions, our goal is to be an organization's or individual's one-stop shop for all their professional advisory needs.

To ensure our clients can take full advantage of our services, our Client Concierge Program and Client Ambassadors provide customized support. These programs highlight our commitment to providing a level of personalized service that few firms can match.

Your Purpose, Our Priority.

Empowering your purpose means being a trusted partner who brings clarity, confidence, and solutions to the table. Our clients’ success stories speak volumes showcasing how we work to ensure their goals and passions remain the priority.

Vredevoogd (Vray-duh-vogue) Heating & Cooling experienced this firsthand. With the help of Rehmann, they were able to upgrade their outdated computer systems and migrate operations to a state-of-the-art cloud-based system. With all data and applications secured and streamlined in the cloud, Vredevoogd today carries less risk and costs, which has given the business more opportunity and room to invest in other tech-forward endeavors.

Providing Value to Clients.

2025 was a year of uncertainty. From navigating the effects of tariffs to adapting to the sweeping tax changes introduced by the One Big Beautiful Bill, many clients faced challenges outside their control. We stepped in to deliver clarity, value, and take decisive action to support and benefit them.

We closely monitored policy shifts, analyzing the impact of new tax provisions and tariffs on our clients. We provided clear, actionable insights, helping them navigate these changes and stay on course through uncertain times.

Innovating for the Future.

As the digital landscape shifts, Rehmann is committed to innovating and adapting. We've revolutionized how we work with tools like:

Gather AI from SafeSend: automates and accelerates the tax preparation process for both our tax advisors and clients alike.

Trullion: leverages AI to streamline and automate complex accounting and auditing tasks, saving significant time while minimizing the risk of costly errors.

CoCounsel: a secure AI assistant that supports our legal and tax professional teams with authoritative insights on complex compliance tax and legal matters.

FloQast: enhances the effectiveness of essential accounting workflows and automate processes, boosting team efficiency.

DataSnipper: automates the tedious processes of data extraction, cross-referencing, and verification directly within Excel, enhancing both accuracy and efficiency.

CAAS Technology: utilizes our preferred vendors’ (Intuit, Gusto, Bill) AI integrations to enhance quality and efficiency of client deliverables.

This evolution will never come at the expense of the people-first culture we have spent decades building. We have equipped our teams with access to numerous AI tools to free up their time so they can focus on client needs. At Rehmann, AI will not replace the authentic human connections that are so important for us and our clients, including the quality of services we deliver. To support our people-first culture while embracing AI we continue to develop the digital professional learning path to ensure our associates and clients are equipped for the future!

All About People.

Maintaining strong relationships with our clients begins with our associates. We are a people-focused company that values collaboration and partnership, and we want associates who also believe in putting people first. Our people work together as one team, and by leveraging our collective knowledge and experience, we’re able to support the many business needs of our clients. The heart of our firm, and all that we do, is our people.

Engaged Associates.

Given the essential role our people play in working closely with clientswe focus on ensuring they are actively engaged in the work they do. Engagement makes a difference as numerous studies have shown a highly engageassociate often leads to greater client satisfaction. We measure associate engagement annually and take steps to address the feedback we receive

People-Focused Culture.

Our culture has been forged by a focus on putting people first, growing and developing skills, and pursuing innovation.

Following these principles allows us to maintain our unique culture in multiple ways:

Flexible Work Arrangements that allow associates to work in-person, hybrid, or remote schedules depending on their role.

Fourth of July paid week-long firm closure so everyone has time away from work to relax and recharge.

Difference and Diversity Day floating holidays to spend volunteering or celebrating cultural, religious, or other holidays important to the individual.

Access to caregiver support that includes anyone you consider family, even those who are not blood relatives, as well as a robust Employee Assistance Program.

Virtual Connections.

While technology has made it easier than ever to work from anywhere, Rehmann is a firm that understands the importance of relationships and connection. We’ve looked for ways our associates can continue to maintain ties with one another, even virtually.

In early 2025, we launched the Virtual Office, which consists of those associates working fully remote so they still have a group of peers with whom they can talk, brainstorm, and bond. Our virtual RCommunity also helps connect associates across the firm based on shared interests, such as sports, reading, pets, and more.

Putting People First.

The value we place on putting people first has also allowed us to create a welcoming and accepting environment for everyone. Our clients and associates come from diverse backgrounds and share a variety of perspectives that enrich our firm. We have focused our diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging efforts on maintaining and growing the culture of acceptance we’ve created. This has included special training for people leaders, a partnership guide for companies we work with, surveys to assess our progress on key efforts, and more. We want our associates to feel comfortable bringing their whole selves to work. This not only benefits them but also allows them to fully focus on providing the best support possible to our clients.

Learning and Growing.

At Rehmann, we want all our associates focused on growth: growing their skills, helping clients grow their businesses, and supporting the growth of our firm. We’ve built a culture of learning that encourages associates of all levels to learn new skills and strengthen existing ones.

Being the go-to advisor for our clients means staying knowledgeable about topics that may impact them. Our firm provides courses on technical skills, advisory skills, soft skills, and much more. Offering these learning opportunities helps our associates with their career growth and development while also developing knowledgeable advisors that can provide clients with effective solutions.

Learning and growing
Lightbulb
Advisory Conference

While we leverage technology to hold most of our learning courses on demand and online, there is no substitute for in-person training. This year we brought together the Advisory and Tax and Assurance and Financial Reporting teams, along with several others,  for three days of learning, connecting, and networking at our first Advisory Conference. Associates not only received technical training but also focused on how to be even better advisors for our clients.

Mountain
Leadership Empowerment Network

In 2025 we announced a Leadership Empowerment Network, which will launch in 2026, for those wanting to continue to grow as leaders. Course offerings will feature a variety of options designed to enhance leadership skills. Some focus on in-depth learning, and others provide more of an overview. Participants will be able to learn from others in their groupwhich enables connections and additional familiarity with other experts in the firm to reach out to and/or introduce to clients.

Empowering Opportunity.

For us, being positive corporate citizens means empowering opportunities for those in our communities who need it most. It is in this spirit that we established the Rehmann Foundation, which is focused on philanthropic efforts aimed at addressing three pillars: education, economic development, and uplifting the communities in which we live and work.

In 2025, the Rehmann Foundation was proud to award over $100,000 in grants to 11 outstanding organizations within our communities. Get to know this year's grant recipients and the incredible work they do.
